Hi everyone. Finally got rid of 2020 and here we are. Scarlett Rose surprised me with the first calf of the year…and you guessed it, a bull named Oscar de na Parker. He’s as cute as he can be. I wasn’t looking for a calf for another 4-6 weeks, but checking gestation calendar she was bred 17 days after J.R. was born. Both are doing well. He’s homozygous as both parents are. After 8 inches of snow a few weeks back and then a couple of more inches of rain the ground is not as hard. But sure need a gully washer to fill the tank. That’s it for now. Take care and be safe
